Neglect, drought, and livestock can wreak havoc on hay fields in South Central Texas. Quality hay in quantities large enough to sustain our ranch animals is critical. Weak hay production means much higher costs in feed. We can help you achieve higher hay yields by reconditioning your fields while maintaining your existing grasses.
Hayfield & Pasture Reconditioning
Let's face it, if your fields are not in top shape you're losing money! And, if you're raising livestock, you really feel the pinch! Increase your hay production or grazing for your livestock with field reconditioning.
Because our process does not involve plowing your fields, regrowth of grasses is FAST. Your hayfields and/or pastures will quickly rebound with growth that thickens and grows taller than you've gotten before. Hard-packed earth is loosened, allowing for better rain penetration that can last up to 30 days longer!

Weed Control
If you aren't already on a schedule of fertilization and weed control, we can help you achieve weed-free hayfields and pastures by coordinating your shredding, baling, fertilization and reconditioning.
Fertilization and/or combination fertilization and weed control is customized according to your needs. From once a year to multi-applications.
Cost varies depending upon the acreage and chemicals needed.

We typically start our reconditioning/rejuvenating services after your fields have been shredded, or we can provide shredding services to get you going.
